He even covered it in colorful paper and tied a big blue ribbon on top. On the day of her birthday, Paul concealed the present somewhere secret . When Gracie discovered it, her face lit up with happiness .

So, like, today happened to be totally weird. Paul, you know, he really screwed things up again. I mean, come on, dude! This time he stole my favorite sweater without even saying anything. He just pocketed it and claimed it was his all along. I'm so angry! I swear, sometimes Paul acts like he's ten.

An Adventure at the Park with Gracie and Paul
It was a sunny day when Gracie and Paul decided to go to the park. They packed a lunchbox full of their favorite foods. At the park, they first went on the see-saw. Gracie whooped with joy as she swung really fast. Paul was more interested in the jungle gym, building tall towers and digging deep holes.
They ran around for a while, chasing each other through the grass. Later, they had their lunch under the shade of a big oak. Gracie read a comic while Paul drew pictures in his sketchpad.
As the afternoon went on, they watched the birds singing and the squirrels playing around. They even saw a family of ducks swimming in the nearby lake. Finally, it was time to go home. Gracie and Paul were both content after their fun day at the park.
A Cookie Caper
Gracie and Paul skipped into the kitchen, their noses sniffing with excitement. They had been anticipating to enjoy a warm cookie straight from the oven. But as they reached the cookie jar, their jaws fell open. It was empty! All the gooey cookies were gone.
"Who could have taken our cookies?" asked Gracie, her check here voice filled with disbelief. Paul scratched his head with confusion. He looked around the kitchen, scanning every corner for clues.
There was a trail leading out to the back door. Could it be?
Paul and Gracie chased after the trail, their eyes wide with suspicion. They knew they had to find out who was behind this cookie crime!

Paul replied enthusiastically. They launched sorting the pieces, talking about how they thought each piece fit.
